Yesterday I made a big batch of Meyer lemonade.
Here's my recipe:
1 part fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 part simple syrup
2 parts water (or more, to taste)

I zest the meyer lemons first, julienne the zest and candy it in making the simple syrup, then proceed as do you.
Stir before serving and you get nice little bits of intense flavor floating around an otherwise refreshing beverage!
Yum! Someone else was telling me that they use boiling water poured over the peels, which they then cool and mix with the juice and sugar.
What's simple syrup? It sounds complicated. Is it like pancake syrup?
