Today I was hand-delivered a package from my good friends Jacob and Marlene, who live in Austin. This package contained what might be the best present I've received in years... Red Velvet "Twinkies"!! They are a Mrs. Freshley's product, and I have to say that they are actually decent-tasting. For those of you who don't know, I have been conducting a Red Velvet taste test over the last few months, but I had never dreamed of this. Jacob and Marlene, thank you so much for expanding my Red Velvet horizons!

yay! i think the best part about these red velvet creatures is that marlene and i found them at a gas station which we stopped at after visiting ye olde swimming hole.
picture humid texas, me and marlene in bikinis, her buying red velvet twinkies and me buying sexy beer coozies for the huntresses. it was awesome!

yay, i'm glad you appreciate these! i was so happy the gas station had them so could see what i was talking about! jacob gets so grossed out everytime i buy and eat these--but who can resist?? big luvs! mar
