Call Me a Patriot

This is the first time in a very long time that I've felt this much pride for America. Last night was such an amazing moment: seeing people crying and hugging and shouting for joy all over the country was so moving and wonderful! On the other hand, I am ashamed to be a Californian for the first time, maybe ever. I can't believe we care more about the rights of chickens than humans. Nonetheless, change is in the air and I think that everything is going to be much, much better.
