You might remember that one of my new year's resolutions for 2009 was to keep a list of things that make me happy every day. I feel like this is a pretty personal project that doesn't have much relevance for anyone else, but if you're curious to get a glimpse of my daily life, you can check it out here: http://resolutionnumberfive.blogspot.com.
I saw these beautiful turquoise and gold items from Zara Home on Style Files, and had to share. You know how much I love my turquoise! I wish they would start a US website already...
This photo by Jenni Penni has been going around the blogs and I have to agree that it's pretty great. Hopefully more prints will be available in Jenni's Etsy shop soon.
The George Washington postcard in my last post made me think about cherries, and particularly cherries as they were represented on postcards around the turn of the last century. I own the one above- it's one of my favorite pieces of ephemera. Here are some other examples I found on Ebay by searching for "cherry postcard."
I've been suffering an infected wisdom tooth for the past few days, so I've had lots of time to browse Etsy. Here are some things I've been admiring. I love all the heart designs that pop up around Valentine's Day. (Links are below, as usual.)
My name is Hannah and I own a small letterpress company called Pie Bird Press in Berkeley, California. I love color, food, collecting, and taking photos. Check out what I'm cooking here, and my documentation of sidewalk stamps here.
