Providence Wedding

One of my closest friends from college got married earlier this month, and her wedding was so fantastic I had to share it with you. Brooke and her husband Matt tied the knot at AS220 a gallery space in Providence that is run by a non-profit organization that provides residencies for artists, equipment and classes for the public, and puts on great shows. The wedding was the result of Brooke and Matt's vision and hard work, as well as the help of their many talented friends.

The cupcakes were made by our friend Robyn, and the chuppah was constructed by other friends and decorated with thousands of paper flowers that Brooke and her friends made (which were donated to the local children's hospital after the big day).

The focal point of the event was the gorgeous series of hand-silkscreened posters that Brooke and Matt made themselves, which covered every wall.

Brooke covered the tables with her colorful collection of vintage bed linens.

Here's the bride with our friends Erik and Shawn.

Last but not least, here are the invitations, designed by Brooke and Matt, which I printed.

Thanks for posting- this is a truly inspiring wedding (especially the cupcakes!) and although I thought my recent wedding was cool . . . I am jealous of this one.

By the way, I just bought some of your cards at a shop in my town, Devil's Food in Denver, and they are beautiful!! I love them!!

Thanks! I just printed them- Brooke did all the design work herself. Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures, but if you want to email me, I might be able to take some more for you: deerseason87@gmail.com
