Of all the things I looked at Alameda Point this weekend, the most charming were two beautifully kept scrapbooks from the 1950's. These books are such wonderful records of two women's lives, and it is so sad that their families weren't able to keep them. I truly regret not buying at least one of them and I hope that someone gave them a good home.

I didn't even bother asking how much though, I am sure for that much ephemera that well-organized, if I had to ask....
