We went to London for 48 hours with two goals in mind: visit the Captain Robert Falcon Scott exhibit at the Natural History Museum (which was amazing), and eat at as many of my favorite restaurants as we could. We splurged and stayed at the St. John hotel in Soho, which was super fun.
We were in Rome for five days, staying in a lovely apartment in Trastevere. Since we'd been there before and seen all the sights, we spent our time drinking Aperol spritzes, wandering around, eating, picnicking, and taking in some of the less travelled neighborhoods.
One of my dearest friends invited me along on a trip to Istanbul last month- how could I say no? We only had a few days there, but I absolutely loved the city and can't wait to go back and see more of Turkey one day. Here are some pictures from the harem at Topkapi Palace, Haiga Sofia, the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market, Kadikoy, and around town. Pics from Rome and London to follow!
My name is Hannah and I own a small letterpress company called Pie Bird Press in Berkeley, California. I love color, food, collecting, and taking photos. Check out what I'm cooking here, and my documentation of sidewalk stamps here.
